Climate protection services

The objective of an active drought risk management policy is to reduce risks and minimize losses that may result from it. The service includes drought risk modeling is performed and planning the development of vegetation retaining water in the ground.

Analysis of climate change, effects caused by climate change, as well as resilience to anticipated natural disasters, in the context of investment implementation. Such analyses are required both at the stage of assessing the impact of the project on the environment and for the needs of co-financing from EU funds.

Performing satellite analyses of overheating areas and facilities, modeling air flows, as well as assessing the reduction for cooling systems using vegetation plantings, including green roofs. The analysis allows to determine the causes of the occurrence of a phenomenon, such as: features of land cover and dominance of artificial surfaces, as well as anthropogenic heat emission.

Assessment of the condition of vegetation allows to verify the possibility of adapting plants to dynamic climate changes.

The analysis is performed in order to determine the degree to which the investment will be a burden for the environment and human health in terms of emissions of pollutants into the air and meeting the applicable air quality standards specified in the regulations. As part of the service, it is possible to model the spread of pollutants using a reference model of pollution dispersion for each type of investment.

Modeling of processes initiated by elements of green and blue infrastructure, such as shading or changing the way energy accumulates and is transferred to the ground surface. The use of vegetation, in particular tall vegetation and proper management of water resources, has a positive effect on the microclimatic conditions of a given area.
